I am happy to be participating in the Rugged Beauty Invitational Exhibit at the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte, Nebraska.

I am thrilled to be an invited artist for the Wayne Plein Air Festival in Wayne, Pennsylvania, happening May 4-10, 2025.

I am pleased to be exhibiting a body of work at the Nebraska Governor’s Residence in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a juried exhibition via the Nebraska Arts Council. More to come.

I’m happy to be participating in the 2024 Vera Dulaney Memorial Art Show at Oregon Trail Days in Gering NE. I will have original art, fine art cards and a few fine art prints.

The show hours are 9am to 9pm on Friday, July 12 and 9am to 3pm on Saturday, July 13.

The New Masters Exhibition 2023 will be held at The Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center in the Anne and John P. Nelson Gallery from May 26th to September 29th. I am happy to be included among the juried artists. Please join us for the opening reception on May 26th from 6:30-10:00 with remarks at 7:00 pm.

The Willa Cather Center in Red Cloud, Nebraska, is celebrating 150 years of Willa Cather’s life and work with an annual conference in June, 2023. In connection with the conference they are hosting an invitational art exhibit to which I have been invited.

“The exhibit’s title, Visions Seen in the Air, asks contributing artists to contemplate the essence of Willa Cather’s home town and to convey, through any medium, that sense of place and feeling of home that would later inspire Cather as she created her six Nebraska novels.” There will be an artist’s reception during the Spring Confrence, June 1-3, 2023.

The Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art is hosting “Farm Island Anthology” opening March 24-July 9, 2023. This national juried exhibition is inspired by contemporary poet Penny Niemi’s “Farm Island Anthology,” which is set against the backdrop of rural America, and challenges a new generation to perpetuate the legacy of rugged, aging farmers who have passionately loved and worked and valued the land.

I am delighted to have three small paintings included in the Big Little Art Show hosted by the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek, WI. If you are local, you can vote for your favorites! The show opens Nov 5 and will be available through January 28th.
