Our little town sits in a beautiful valley between what the locals call the west table and the east table. We were driving the east table backroads just before sunset when I saw this magnificent cloud all lit up by the golden light. I stopped to stare and I took a photo which helped me remember the glow of that golden hour as it transformed the sky into the “wow” that moved me to commit it to paint.
