What types of commissions do you offer?

A painting commission is all about you and what type of painting you would like to have for your home or workplace. I have painted many different types of paintings ranging from animals such as pets or cattle to wedding dresses or landscapes. I love the variety of commission work so if there is something about which you are thinking, let’s talk about it. Feel free to reach out.

What size are your commissions?

Many of the commissions I offer are medium sized, i.e. 16x20 or 18 x 24, but I have painted many in the larger category, 36 x 48 or 48 x 48. The main thing to consider is the size of the space you are considering. We can make it work for you.

What does the commission process entail?

All commissions start with an idea, either a description, a sketch or a photo. I am open to visiting the place in person, the cost will be factored in to the project.

The first thing I do is create a pencil sketch of the idea to see if we are tracking together in content and composition. After this, I do a small color study to make sure the colors are what you are expecting. When all is well, I will move on to the larger canvas to complete the finished piece.

How long does a commission take?

It usually takes six-eight weeks for me to finish a commission project.
