Even though this is a cut field of corn stalks, it reminds me of the wheat stubble of my childhood. I loved all the tracks in the field….hope the idea comes through. Always great to be outside and I feel grateful. 💛

This is a first for me, my painting “Hay Day” was accepted to the AIS Small Works Show and I almost fell off my chair when I received the news! Thank you to the AIS jurors and staff and congratulations to all artists who were accepted.

The Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney has opened the Nebraska Now Exhibition with work from many artists from across the state.

The opening reception is Saturday, February from 5-7 at the museum.

This drawing is from my hands….the work of a heart and a soul. One who breathes deeply and slowly. Who doubts and fears, yet trusts and persists.

My mission as an artist is to pursue the good, the true and the beautiful. I may feel disorient

Taking it all in. I tried to get the winter vibe of grasses against the warm sun light which is what caught my eye. The wind kept me from getting more photos/video. Maybe you can relate. Next time! 🤞 Enjoy the day. ☀️
