“Sun Sinking Low” | Oil on Panel | 12 × 16 | © Beth Cole
Painted first as a plein air painting in a plein air event near Auburn, NE. Painted secondly as a larger studio painting and sold. I love the barn so much I wanted to create a third piece with a different composition. I hope you feel the sense of history, mood and atmosphere in this painting. People don't build too many wood and stone buildings anymore. That is one reason I want to preserve it with paint.
The painting is framed in a natural wood float frame and ready to hang.
